Stainless Steel Flocculators
Flocculators are equipment designed to promote the aggregation of suspended particles in sludge and wastewater, improving the efficiency of subsequent sedimentation, thickening, and dewatering processes. Our range includes both dynamic and static solutions, manufactured in stainless steel or PVC, suitable for different plant configurations.
Flocculation is widely used in water treatment processes for both raw and wastewater, particularly when removing colloidal particles that are difficult to settle or filter. The water to be treated passes through the flocculation tank after the coagulation stage and before entering the sedimentation tank.
Proper flocculation is essential for maximizing the efficiency of subsequent sludge sedimentation, thickening, and dewatering processes.
We manufacture both static and dynamic flocculators for sludge mixing. Our product range includes cylindrical stainless steel tanks as well as PVC spiral pipe systems.

Dynamic Flocculator Mod. X-AF
The X-AF dynamic flocculator is a cylindrical stirring tank for mixing sludge at a maximum concentration of 5% -6% with diluted polyelectrolyte. Its operating principle is very simple: the polyelectrolyte is dosed via a “T” coupling situated on the sludge inlet flange. It exploits the stirring action performed by the rotating blades as the liquid raises to the top the tank. The result is an optimal flocculation performance.
Flocculator With Serpentine Coil Mod. X-SFP
Sludge flocculation is also achieved by a serpentine coil made of PVC-u, of sufficient length to give the sludge time to flocculate. This results in zero energy consumption and maintenance of a constant sludge pressure up to the reception machine.
