SCREENING COMPACTORS FOR DEPURATION PLANTS
X2 Solution is a leader in the production of customized machines for the depuration of industrial or municipal wastewater.
Wastewater treatment plants are characterized by conditions of high humidity, temperature changes, ice formation, presence of corrosive or slimy substances, biological proliferation of micro-organisms and weeds. X2 Solution machines are resistant to corrosion, humidity, low temperatures and thermal shocks and represent an ideal solution to such issues.
Our screening compactors designed for water depuration plants, stand out for their ability to keep the whole system efficient and fully functional. Our company also deals with the installation and maintenance of the equipment.
Our screening compactors bear the CE mark and are supplied with an internal test certificate.

SCREW COMPACTOR
A screw compactor can be used in various drainage applications and in combination with different types of solid/liquid separators or conveyors. This machine, normally used for compressing solids deriving from different processes, has the function of compacting screenings discharged directly from a screen or a screw conveyor. Once the screened material reaches the swan neck outlet, it is discharged into a storage container.
SCREW WASHER COMPACTOR
Screw washer compactors consist of a screw compactor for washing, compacting and conveying screened material and wet waste. The machine pushes the material through a pipeline or against a counter-pressure device, thus generating high forces capable of compacting and dewatering the material. A washing system fitted with nozzles is positioned along the conveyor route for draining screenings up the compactor zone. We are able to provide the most innovative solutions and our extensive knowledge in the field of screening equipment.
HOW A SCREENINGS COMPACTOR WORKS
The material to be compressed is fed into the machine body via a hopper. After that, the hydraulic piston activates and compresses the material until its volume is significantly reduced and most of its liquid content is removed. The water trickles out through the compactor chamber and collects in the drip tray. This tray can be continuously washed by two blade spray nozzles to prevent build-up of tiny pieces of material passing through the drainage holes. The water collected inside the tray is then discharged through a nozzle. As the material is gradually compressed, it is pushed into the conveying pipe, whose diameter varies according to its length to prevent excessive friction against the pipe inner walls from hindering the flow of the material, which could lead to machine blockage.
