MINI.SET 2, a combined sand screening and removal unit, is the most effective and economical solution on the market for treating low flow rates. Influent water passes through a screw screen and is sent to the sedimentation tank. The sand that collects on the bottom of the tank is removed by an internal baffle system and then extracted by a screw conveyor.

This supplementary device can be used as a support for mechanical pre-treatments in small depuration plants with flow rates up to 30 m3 / h. The screw screen compactor allows achieving an optimal efficiency percentage in the capture of solids and reduction in the volume of screened material.
Combined treatements
Our combined units consist of combined machines or systems capable of performing two functions simultaneously:
- Sand removal and washing
- De-oiling and degreasing
Effluent enters the machine through a fixed pipeline and settles inside the tank; the sand is removed via a screw system while the superficial layer of greases and oils are removed through the de-oiling unit with the aid of an air blowing system.
