CUSTOMIZED SAND CLASSIFIERS
Our products are highly efficient in separating sand from wastewater. After settling at the bottom, the sand is removed by a solids screw extractor.
Our sand classifiers consist of an inclined screw conveyor fitted with a large feeding hopper and complete of a liquid inlet and outlet flange, a shaftless helicoid flight positioned inside a trough protected by HDPE anti-wear coating or stainless steel bars, a solid discharge outlet, trough lids and a motor mounted at the discharge end.
Effluent flows through the sand classifier inlet and reaches the settling hopper where particle sedimentation occurs. The low rotation speed of the screw facilitates the sedimentation and subsequent extraction of the drained material through the upper outlet. The clear water flows through the side outlet of the hopper.

REDUCTION OF SUSPENDED AND FLOATING MATERIALS
Sand separators and oil separators are used in plants dedicated to the depuration of effluent coming from mixed networks.
De-oiling, one of the primary mechanical operations that take place at the depuration plant headworks, involves removing and reducing suspended and floating materials.
The removal of oils, fats and foams that collect on the free wastewater surface, as well as the sand that settles on the bottom, is necessary to avoid problems in the settling and anaerobic digestion basins. Contact us to inquire about our products!
