SEPARATION OF SAND, GREASES AND ORGANIC MATTER
Just like the SET 2 version, in this type of combined unit, effluent and solid particles pass through a screen and are diverted to a longitudinal tank. The whirling motion created by an air blower causes sand, grease and organic matter to separate. The latter two remain suspended in the water whereas the sand sinks to the bottom of the tank as its specific weight is greater than that of water. A screw conveyor located at the bottom moves the sand to a pit where an extractor screw carries it outside of the machine. Suspended greases are collected by a hopper. A set of paddles dragged by a chain scrape the water surface. Finally, the water overflows and exits the machine through a hopper.
Choosing a combined unit with a degreasing system for efficient wastewater treatment allows to intervene in terms of a pretreatment, for subsequent execution of screening, sand removal, and grease removal.
The SET3 combined unit, which we design and manufacture, aims to incentivize and facilitate operations. You can turn to our professionalism and experience for long-lasting, efficient and sturdy solutions. Possible unit categories include: longitudinal hoppers for sand separation, combined units, combined units with degreasing system, and mini combined units, which are perfect for smaller plants.
