Screw compactors<\/h1>\n

Screw compactors can be used in a wide range of drainage<\/strong> applications, also in combination with different types of solid\/liquid separators or conveyors. They are normally used for compressing solids deriving from different processes (treatment of municipal and industrial effluent, food and rock wool industries, slaughterhouses, the plastic industry, etc.). The machine compresses<\/strong> the material that is discharged directly from a screen or a screw conveyor. Once the material reaches the swan neck outlet, it is discharged into a storage container.<\/p>\n

Mod. X-COMP<\/h2>\n

The X-COMP compactor combines two different operations: drainage and compaction of screenings<\/strong>. It can be positioned directly below the screen or fed from a hopper. \u00a0A device fitted with nozzles positioned along the conveying route washes the screenings as they move towards the compactor zone. The excellent washing performance and compaction degree achieved by the machine makes it possible to minimize and slash disposal costs.<\/p>\n

Our screw washer compactors consist of an inlet hopper connected to a tubular drainage trough. The hopper can be equipped with a supplementary washing system to enhance the removal of organic matter from screenings.<\/p>\n
