Mod. SET2<\/h2>\n

The SET combined unit performs a primary screening operation through a screw screen located at the machine head. Particles exceeding the size of the screen openings remain trapped. A set of brushes mounted on the screw conveyor remove and lift the solids that are washed and compressed before being discharged.<\/p>\n

The high pressure nozzles fitted to the machine keep the screen clean and free from solids<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Screened water and solid particles are collected and diverted to a longitudinal tank. The swirling motion created by an air blower causes sand and organic matter to separate. Organic matter \u00a0remains suspended on the water surface while the sand sinks to the bottom, as its specific weight is greater than that of water. As the sand settles, a screw conveyor located at the bottom moves it to a pit where an extractor screw carries the solids outside of the machine. The water overflows and exits the machine through a hopper<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
